Episode 97 - Milk Punch in the Time of Covid

​Hello survivors!  The Gentlemen of Elegant of Leisure are back with a new episode.  Gentleman Fred found a Clarified Milk Punch recipe that he just had to share.  Give a listen to the new show and let us know how you're all doing!

"The full meal deal from Good Eats is attached.
I used the St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram, Myers Dark, Murchie’s Earl Grey tea, and the Taylor Fladgate Late Vintage Bottled Porto (2015).
The jelly bag didn’t take out enough of the milk solids, so I ended up straining it twice – I used a coffee filter inside a strainer. It probably took over an hour to do the final filter – I had to keep topping it up."

Well that sounds easy enough.  Fred mixed up a big batch and took it on a road trip to Gents Dave and Jason.

How did it taste?  Really really good.  We're not going to lie to you, it's festive and Christmas-y.  Maybe your not in the mood for that at the beginning of summer, but if you are . . . this is a great drink.  Maybe if you took out some of the festive spices you would have a more summer suitable flavour but either way, you should definitely try making this drink.
